Odd-shaped luggage refers to items made of flexible fabric and/or that are oval, round or spherical in shape, as well as soft plastic or plasticised packages or bags and packaging for domestic or rudimentary use which, due to their characteristics, require manual handling and specific treatment. For this reason, their acceptance is subject to validation at the check-in desk. If accepted, these items will be managed exclusively at the special baggage desk and will incur a specific fee.
In certain situations with operational restrictions, these items may be carried in a special hold and, exceptionally, sent on a later flight.
