What is a codeshare flight?

Iberia maintains agreements with other airlines through which it sells seats on certain routes operated by those airlines under the IB code. These flights are known as “codeshare flights” and are only valid for collecting *Avios if they are operated by a oneworld alliance airline.

If you bought you ticket through iberia.com and the operator is American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair or Vueling, we'll redirect you their website so you can check in online. If the operator is another airline, you will have to check in at the airport.
Your ticket will state the free checked baggage included in your baggage allowance. For excess weight, additional bags and similar, the baggage regulations of the operating airline will apply.

*However, with the exception of Vueling, Level and Interjet, you can't use Avios to buy tickets for these flights.
