How can I upgrade my Iberia Plus card to Plata, Oro or Platino?

If you already belong to our Iberia Plus programme and have an Iberia Plus Clásica card, you can move up through the different levels by collecting Elite Points. You earn these when you fly and you can only use them to change your card level (from 1 April to 31 March).

  • If you have an Iberia Plus Clásica card and want to get the Iberia Plus Plata card, you will need to earn 1,100 Elite Points or have taken 25 flights with Iberia Group airlines, British Airways and/or Vueling in the past year. At least one of the flights must have been with the Iberia Group.

  • If you have an Iberia Plus Plata card and want to get the Iberia Plus Oro card, you will need to earn 2,250 Elite Points or have taken 50 flights with Iberia Group airlines, British Airways and/or Vueling in the past year. At least one of the flights must have been with the Iberia Group.

  • If you have an Iberia Plus Oro card and want to get the Iberia Plus Platinocard, you will need to have earned 6,250 Elite Points in the past year. To stay in this level, you will need to earn 12,500 Elite Points in 2 years, or alternatively have earned 6,250 Elite Points in the past year.

  • To get the Infinita card, you will need to have earned 125,000 Elite Points since you joined the programme and you will keep them forever.

  • To get the Infinita Prime card, you will need to have earned 200,000 Elite Points since you joined the programme and you will keep them forever.
