Do you know your passenger rights?

The European Union has established a series of rights for air passengers and is committed to safeguarding them. You can check the current legislation on our Passenger rights page.

In any case, in the event of denied boarding, cancellation, delay, change of cabin class or luggage incident, passengers on our flights are entitled to compensation (accommodation, food, etc.), which vary depending on the circumstances of each case and country. Remember, this compensation does not cover additional expenses related to your travel once you have flown. If you took out travel insurance, contact the insurer to check if your policy covers those expenses.

You can request this compensation at the airport information points or the Iberia desk, where we'll review your case. Compensation requests are handled at the airport. You can't process a compensation request through our telephone service.
