Hello, how can I help you?

Ceuta, Melilla, Canary and Balear Islands resident's discount. How do I indicate this when I come to make the reservation via Iberia.com?

Select one of these two options to apply the resident discount in the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands to direct and connecting flights between airports on the mainland and airports on the islands (except for residents of Ceuta, who are eligible for the discount for flights between Seville, Málaga and Jerez and other destinations on the mainland):

  • From our Home page; Once you have chosen the origin and destination of your flight, you can check the resident box and the flights will appear with the discount already applied.
  • Or, if you have not marked it from the Home page, you can also do it during the purchase process, once you have chosen the flights on which you want to travel.

On the Passenger information screen, you will be required to fill out the obligatory details to give you a resident's discount (type of accreditation document and municipality).

In order to benefit from the resident's discount via our Web page, all passengers associated with the reservation must have the right to a resident's discount, they must be Spanish citizens, citizens of other member states of the European Union or citizens of other States that are members of the European Economic Area (currently Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), who can prove that they are resident in the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla and who are travelling between their place of residency (Residents of Ceuta, will only be entitled to the discount for journeys whose origen or destination is exclusively at Malaga, Jerez or Sevilla airports) and any other part of Spanish national territory. If any of the passengers is not a resident, they should make a reservation separately.
Remember, to avoid issues with the verification of your proof of residence, enter your first and last names exactly as they appear on your identity document. Do not use pet names, short forms or any other variations.
