We recommend keeping all your medication in your hand luggage and easily accessible throughout the journey.
You are also advised to carry the corresponding prescription or medical certificate, as well as only the amount of medication strictly necessary for the duration of the flight.
If you have an illness that requires injectable treatment (diabetes, etc.) or liquid medication exceeding the permitted 100 ml limit, you will need a medical certificate to carry the necessary syringes, needles and medication on board.
The medication must be included within your free baggage allowance. No additional items may be carried for this reason.
We will not be able to store or refrigerate any medication in the aircraft refrigerators. If you need to keep your medication cold, you may carry your own portable cooler, provided it does not contain any prohibited or dangerous items. For example, dry ice may not be carried. No additional certificate is required to carry the portable cooler, provided it does not contain any prohibited components.
Remember that, as airport Security Services are beyond our control, you should prepare a contingency plan with your doctor in case the competent authorities do not allow you to board the aircraft with any of these items.
